Welcome to an old and ongoing project that we are turning into blog form. It has been an arduous journey getting here but also a delicious journey.
Every year we attempt to document our dinners daily. Now that we are again at a new start of a year we are hoping to make it stick. Especially in winter when it is rainy and cold, we find ourselves preparing more dinners together at home. My husband Joshua is the talent behind the endlessly divine preparations and I'm in the background styling, photographing and writing.
For those of you who may not know me, I am a committed film photographer for most of my artistic endeavors. You can view my film photography here on my website or @stgraves. However I found that in order to document our dinners in a timely manner I've had to over to digital documentation. I use older glass on digital bodies and I really like the effect. Above are some film photographs taken last spring for during one of our monthly dinner parties. This is Cinestill 800T shot outside- thus the cold cast.
